Our Services

Our services are shaped by the voices and experiences of the people we support. We regularly gather feedback through focus groups, feedback forms, and direct contact via email and telephone, and we monitor referral trends into Reconnection. This helps us ensure our support remains relevant, effective, and responsive to community needs.

What We Offer

We provide a range of practical and empowering services for refugees and migrants from the Horn of Africa, supporting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Welfare Benefits, Housing & Employment Support

We offer advice, guidance, and advocacy to help individuals understand their rights, access welfare benefits, find safe housing, and move towards employment or training. Our support helps people overcome barriers and build stability as they settle into life in the UK.

Coffee Chat Project

Our Coffee Chat Project creates a safe and welcoming space for informal conversation, peer support, and community connection. By bringing people together in a relaxed environment, the project helps reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and strengthen a sense of belonging.

Digital Inclusion Project

We support individuals to build essential digital skills and confidence, enabling them to access online services, communicate with support networks, and participate fully in everyday life. This support increases independence and helps bridge the digital divide.

Research & Advocacy

We carry out research into the experiences of people who undertake perilous journeys to reach safety. By centring lived experience, we raise awareness, inform policy discussions, and advocate for more compassionate and inclusive responses.
