Who We Are
Reconnection is a UK-based organization established to support refugees from the moment they arrive in the country. We aim to help refugees settle into their new lives in a new country and give them a chance to be included in social activities. We specialize in offering advice, referrals, information, advocacy, signposting, cultural activities, and language interpretation services for refugees.
The seeds for Reconnection were planted in London in 2009, and it has been growing ever since. Reconnection is all about building a sense of belonging among refugees so they can feel that they are part of the social fabric.

In another hand, we help to improve the lives of New Communities in the UK who are long-term homeless and unemployed.
Why We Started
Fleeing the war and violence is only a part of the journey to safety. When things go wrong, the only way toward change is to work on the issues. You wouldn’t believe half of the troubles refugees go through. Upon their arrival, they have nothing but their families to support them. In fact, most people spend their entire lives in a refugee camp. They are left in limbo without any answers or hope for the future. We work to relieve poverty among refugees and prevent it by offering refugee support, advice, referrals, signposting, advocacy, translation and language interpretation services.
What We Do
Reconnection has been working to protect the refugees forced to flee their homes due to violence, war, abduction, and murder. Since 2009, Reconnection has been providing safety and support to refugees in the UK.
